Much of the work we do is brochures and marketing materials, tried–and–true, proven to sell your product or service. We’ve produced hundreds of pieces and are experts in all things print.
We are big fans of the typographer and poet, Robert Bringhurst. Mark incorporates his theories into his periodic design classes and we are highly sensitive to the use and misuse of the hyphen, en dash, and em dash (just kidding, we are not sensitive, but we do love type and pay a great deal of attention to getting it right).
I wake up early. I get my camera, tripod, raincoat. I go to the Rotunda. Dawn, drizzle, sidelight coming over the mountain. Wonderful luck.
Our second year doing the Destinations Report for University Career Services.
This is the University of Virginia’s School of Engineering and Science’s Center for Career Development’s Annual Report. There’s probably a way to write that with fewer apostrophes.
We’ve been working for the Center for 4 years now and are currently producing the 2014 report. It’s always a little mind-bending to work on a project with a date for the last year, extra attention to detail!
We created a lot of materials for Phthisis over the years. We tie together their packaging, logo, illustration, photography, animation, and website. It’s not difficult, but it requires vigilance; variation in look and feel will rapidly diminish your hard work. Stay on brand!
We started working with University Career Services when one of our clients from McIntire School of Commerce migrated over there. Thanks for remembering us!
We did the photography for this piece as well, great fun stomping around Grounds shooting cool architecture. It’s also a joy to have so much input on a project. Thanks Career Services!
2012 University of Virginia’s School of Engineering and Science’s Center for Career Development’s Annual Report. We know, we know, that’s a whole lotta apostrophe!
